STATE GENERAL ELECTION:  NOVEMBER 5, 2024

Election filing for the positions listed below opens on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, and closed on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 5:00pm. The last day candidates may withdraw from filing is Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 5:00pm.

​

To run for office, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

     - Be a qualified city voter

     - Be at least 21 years of age on the date of taking office

     - Be a U.S. Citizen

     - Be a resident of the city for at least 30 days prior to the election

​

Notice is hereby given that a general election will be held in Silver Lake on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices below.

         

City Offices

Mayor - two (2) year term

      Candidate:  Bruce Bebo

One Council Member - two (2) year term

       Candidate:  Jarrett Whitney

Two Council Members - four (4) year terms

      Candidates:  Ted Gehring, Roxy Yurek, Josh Mason
