Residential Snow Plowing
If you live in an area where new streets and curbs were put in due to the construction this summer, please inform the person who does your snowplowing that there is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the street and curb which will remain through the winter. This will help them prevent damage to their equipment as well as the new curb.

Snow on Sidewalks
This is just a reminder that city ordinance states that "The owner and the occupant of any property adjacent to the public sidewalk shall use due diligence to keep such sidewalk safe for pedestrians by the removal of any snow or ice. No owner or occupant shall allow snow or ice to remain on the sidewalk longer than 24 hours after its deposit thereon". You can read the full section of the ordinance HERE.

SNOW REMINDER
This is just a reminder that with the impending snow and the beginning of the snow season, when there is 2+ inches of snow as determined by Public Works, there is no parking from curb to curb until the street has been plowed. Any vehicles not moved prior to plowing are subject to being towed. The parking lot behind the auditorium is available for those who need parking.

Christmas Lights
Due to the infrastructure project, Christmas lights will be hung but will not be illuminated this year.
Happy Holidays!
