Residential Snow Plowing
If you live in an area where new streets and curbs were put in due to the construction this summer, please inform the person who does your snowplowing that there is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the street and curb which will remain through the winter. This will help them prevent damage to their equipment as well as the new curb.

HYDRANT FLUSHING HAS BEEN DELAYED
IT IS NOW PLANNED FOR
November 3 - November 14

Due to the city only having one operating well, we need to allow two weeks for the hydrant flushing process this fall. During this process you may notice discolored water. Although the water is safe for consumption, please observe its color before doing laundry. If water is discolored, flush out the service pipes by running your inside and/or outside faucets until the water is clear.
A map showing the hydrant flushing routes can be found on the Public Works page. This will give you a general idea of the order of streets affected, but we can not determine how quickly to process will be able to move forward.
Thank you for your understanding.
